While working on a project for graphic design, I found these pictures, and I thought I'd share them.

"You are a feather on the wings of an angel.
You are the fire at the wick of the candle.
You carry me through the darkest of my hours.
Until we can claim that happiness is ours.

The warmth when I am cold
sittin' at the side of the lane.
Looking at the sky
as the sunshine turns to rain.

Fix the heartbreak for after it
comes a rainbow
That will shine on you
till the whitening of the crow."

"We met by chance and
turned into friends
and now our destiny
keeps us close to each
others making our
friendship grow more
with the passing time

You are a friends for a lifetime!!"

Friendship Template 27 February

(sorry it goes off the page)

This is a project I was working on in Graphic Design. We were allowed to pick whatever topic we wanted, and make a template on it. However, the images and the words we had to get from online. So, all the info on this template is from http://www.infed.org/biblio/friendship.htm. All the images I found on google images search under "friendship".

To the owners of the images, and words: Please don't sue me; this is what we had to do for an assignment.

26 Feb 2013

26 February, 2013

So yesterday was my birthday. I had fun, but it felt more like an excuse to have people be nice to me, rather than my birthday. I am another year older, but that's all it is; the excitement of birthday's has just gone out of me, I guess. Birthdays are different than they were when I was little. I remember being so excited for my birthday, because that was my day. I don't know, maybe I was just down because I was getting older without them, without my friends. I guess I was mostly disappointed that my friends didn't call or txt me to say 'Happy Birthday'. I'll have to check facebook to see if anyone said it there. I suppose it's just hard for me, seeing people decorate their friends' lockers, or getting them balloons or doing something special for their friends for their birthday, and then no one does that for me.
    I also was dissapointed because when it's one of my friend's birthday, I call or send them a message to say 'Happy Birthday', so I guess I thought one of them might do that for me.

I'm sorry I'm sounding mopey today. I'm not sure what's going on w/ me. Although my birthday wasn't all that I hoped it wold be, I still had fun, and I'm grateful for what I got. :)

Oh and Emily DID txt me to say "Happy Birthday" (after I reminded her- she missed it when she was putting birthdays on her calendar).

oh yah!! I got Tangled for my birthday!!! ^_^ :D

glomp- (v) it hug someone after running at them, usually surprising them

Last Wednesday, I visited my friends in Tualatin after school. When I got there, I started to sneak up, but then I decided to just glomp Emily. It was fun. And then out of nowhere, Jeremy glomped me! I totally wasn't expecting it, but then maybe i should have because I told him I would be there. It was awesome. :) ^_^

I miss those spontaneous things that happen w/ my friends, because they are soo fun. :) I really miss that, I mean sure, I can still hang out w/ them (and for that I'm really grateful), but I can't have those spontaneous moments as much. When this school year started, for the first 3 months, it was really hard for me-- not seeing them every day like I used to. I was so depressed. Thankfully being able to hang out w/ them occasionally, and a fair amount of counseling, has greatly helped, and healed, me. I'm more okay now, but I still miss them. After school and during assemblies are the hardest for me, because that's when I'd see and hang out w/ them at school. Especially assemblies; I wanted to cry at the last one because they did something that reminded me of the fun I'd had w/ my friends, especially Emily and Jeremy.

Being able to see them occasionally on Wednesdays after school, and hang out with them occasionally has helped me realize that they aren't gone forever, like all my previous friends had been before. (Every time we'd move, I wouldn't be able to visit, and I'd loose contact every single time.)

Happy Valentine's Day!! :D 2013

Well, today is a special day for many people, and for others, it's the worst day of the year. Valentine's Day was my favorite holiday, then for a few years I didn't like Valentine's Day cause it reminded me of someone I'd lost (because they moved) when I was young, and it hurt. But now I'm back to liking this holiday, which it probably has something to do w/ me finding someone to like, and that healing my heart. But because I was hurt at such a young age, I have a difficult time w/ relationships, because I don't want to get hurt again.

Anyway, I can't think of anyone for whom today is more special, than my cousin Chelsea, because it's her birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHELSEA!!!!!! Have a WONDERFUL day!!!!! :D ^_^
And for everyone else, I hope you have a wonderful day, even and especially if you don't really have a "special someone." Also, I hope you enjoy the pictures I got from google.com. : )

Yesterday, I found out that one of my best friends is going through a really rough time, and they're really hurting. I broke my heart that they were in such pain. I honestly hope and pray that they, and their family, will be able to get through this, and that they won't hurt so much after awhile.

While I was thinking about them, these songs came to my mind. I knew I had to post the lyrics on my blog. So I guess this post is dedicated to that friend, and their family. (Anyone that is feeling down, or hurting, I hope that you are comforted as well.)

"Hilary Weeks Beautiful Heartbreak Lyrics

I had it all mapped out in front of me,
Knew just where I wanted to go;
But life decided to change my plans,
And I found a mountain in the middle of my road.

I knew there was no way over it,
So I searched for a way around;
Brokenhearted I started climbin',
And at the top I found...

Every fear, every doubt,
All the pain I went through;
Was the price that I paid to see this view;
And now that I'm here I would never trade...

The grace that I feel,
And the faith that I find;
Through the bitter-sweet tears,
And the sleepless nights;

I used to pray he'd take it all away,
But instead it became a beautiful heartbreak.

I never dreamed my heart would make it,
I thought about turning around;
But heaven has shown me miracles,
I never would have seen from the ground.

Now I take the rain with the sunshine,
Cause there's one thing that I know;
He picks up the pieces,
Along each broken road.

Every fear, every doubt,
All the pain I went through;
Was the price that I paid to see this view;
And now that I'm here I would never trade...

The grace that I feel,
And the faith that I find;
Through the bitter-sweet tears,
And the sleepless nights.

I used to pray he'd take it all away,
But instead it became a beautiful heartbreak.

I would never trade...

The grace that I feel,
And the faith that I find;
Through the bitter-sweet tears,
And the sleepless nights.

I used to pray he'd take it all away,
But instead it became a beautiful heartbreak."

"Gary Allan Every Storm Lyrics

I saw you standing in the middle of the thunder and lightning,
I know you're feelin' like you just can't win but you're tryin',
It's hard to keep on keepin' on when you're bein' pushed around,
Don't even know which way is up, just keep spinnin' down, round, down,

Chorus
Every storm runs, runs out of rain, just like
Every dark night turns into day,
Every heartache'll fade away, just like
Every storm runs, runs out of rain,

So hold your head up and tell yourself that there's something more, walk out that door,
Go find a new rose, don't be afraid of the thorns, cuz we all have thorns,
Put your feet up to the edge, put your face in the wind,
And when you fall back down, keep on remembering,

(Repeat chorus)

It's gonna run out of pain,
It's gonna run out of sting,
It's gonna leave you alone,
It's gonna set you free, set you free,

(Repeat chorus)

It's gonna set you free,
It's gonna run out of pain,
It's gonna set you free"

Song of the Day/ The Shepherd

This is a wonderful song, typically meant for Christmas time, but I love it all year. I was listening to it yesterday, And I felt like sharing it. Enjoy!! :D

"Michael McLean - The Shepherd (You Were Not There in Bethelehem) lyrics

Download The Shepherd (You Were Not There in Bethelehem) 320kbps mp3

The flock was more than peaceful
The night was dark and deep
The stillness wrapped around me
I drifted off to sleep
And when my friends awoke me
Oh, what a tale they had to tell

They said the angels told them
About a newborn King
They had a star to guide them
They heard the heavens sing
They said that when they found Him
They knew they'd never be the same

Somehow I did believe them,
Though everything I knew
Said I should not believe them
This story can't be true
But there was something magic
In the air
That made me feel as if
I had been there

I asked a thousand questions
Their answers startled me
The more I heard,
The more I thought I knew
This cannot be
And then the struggle started,
My head was wrestling with my heart.

Why would a God from Heaven
Come to the world this way?
Why in a lowly stable
Would the Messiah lay?
I shook my head and asked them
To tell the story one more time

Yes I did believe them
Though I'd not seen a thing
I did not go to Bethlehem
Or hear the angels sing
But there was something magic
In the air
That made me feel as if
I had been there

I knew that as the world moves on
through time
There would be more stories
just like mine
About the souls who've chosen
to believe
In something that they never
got to see

Do you think you'll join us
Though you've not seen a thing?
You were not there in Bethlehem
To hear the angels sing
But if you feel the spirit
In the air
Then just like me you'd know

That He was here
He was here
The King of kings
And Lord of lords was here
(He was here)
He was here, he was here
(He was here)
And He will come again,
For He was here.
(The King of kings)
(The Lord of lords)
-(He was here)
(The King of kings)
(and Lord of Lords was here)
-(He was here)
(The King of kings)
(The Lord of lords)
-(He was here)
(The King of kings)
(and Lord of Lords was here)

And He will come again
For He was here
For He was here"
